Agadir’s main areas
Seafront (Founty, Marina, Agadir Bay) — hotels, residences and aparthotels along the promenade. Best for walking to the beach; also the priciest and most touristy area.
Centre (Talborjt, New Talborjt, around Souk El Had) — central and lively, near the big market. Convenient, noisier.
Residential areas (including Hay Mohammadi) — local life: restaurants, cafés, shops, lower prices. The beach is a few minutes by car or taxi. Our apartment is here: see Hay Mohammadi neighbourhood.
North: Taghazout and Tamraght — surf villages with a laid-back feel, about 20 km away. Great for surfing, less so for city life.

Questions
What is the best area in Agadir for families?

Near the promenade if the beach is your priority; in a residential area with shops and restaurants nearby if everyday life matters more. Petit taxis are everywhere and cheap.
